Unpaid item
I bought a book and payed immediately with PayPal. The seller shipped the incorrect book to me and then gave me a full refund. We each left the other (+) feedback and I've no quarrel with the seller. However, now in My eBay under the heading Buying Reminders, it says "I need to pay for 1 item." What is going on? I've forwarded proof of payment from PayPal to eBay and got a form email back saying that eBay has removed the unpaid item from my account, but they have not. I've emailed again asking to fix this and no response yet. I have 100% (+) feedback and I don't want this error on someone else's part to be a black mark against me. What can I do? This is very frustrating.|||gah. Apparently I can't spell 'paid.' sigh.|||Just use the drop-down menu to the right of the item and choose "Mark as payment sent". That's all! (Though I thought that didn't do that anymore, my last two refunds never showed as needing to be paid, like they used to.)|||I've forwarded proof of payment from PayPal to eBay and got a form email back saying that eBay has removed the unpaid item from my account, but they have not. I've emailed again asking to fix this and no response yet. Ebay was assuming you had an unpaid item strike on your record, which you didn't because you paid already. This is just some weird thing Ebay has when the seller has refunded you. It will show the payment as unpaid because the payment has been "refunded". There's no worry about it. Just do want Mr. James said above.|||Your My eBay page is for your records only. So long as everything is settled between you and the seller, you can safely delete that item from your My eBay page. Also on your My eBay page, on the left hand side, is a link to the Resolution Center. Check there to see if the unpaid item strike is still showing on your account. If it is, just resubmit proof of your payment, and it will be removed. It shouldn't be there though.friends Director,|||I was able to use the drop down menu to delete the item on my Buying Reminder. I also received a personal email from eBay this evening saying that their first response to me was sent in error. There is no unpaid item in my case even though it does show up in my Buying Reminder page and then he gave instructions on how to delete it from that page (which I had just done). Thanks to all of you for responding! .|||When a refund is given , the Ebay system auto shows the item (in your MY Ebay) as unpaid again.|||there are a lot of buyers who seem to get upset about this ebay needs to do something so it is less confusing for them."This must be Thursday, said Arthur to himself, sinking low over his beer, I never could get the hang of Thursdays."
is this a furniture or a toy?
Is this a real furniture or toy? If just juge by the picture I think you also will agree me, this is furniture, but after you watched the introduction, you will be surprise its quality and use. you can facility it storage your necklace、ear ring 、ring etc.|||Tracy, we need an item number before giving an opinion.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I did not sell you my opinion|||Sounds like the OP is advertising but she doesn't have any listings. Interesting.|||Another board spammer from China.|||New ID, same poster who has been here before with Chinese chick avatars. Another post actually managed to get an auction number in for the other seller. Check out the other posts he/she has made under this ID - too funny.|||Yup, just like I called it a Chinese board spammer. Link Just like roaches|||"Is this a real furniture or toy?" How to register from outside usa ?
Hello , I have registered and made a purchase when i registered i wrote my p.o box in the street address line 1 Text box because in my country there is no service to get the goods to your door like in usa . so my question is ? can i use my p.o box ?? and i hope the answer is yes if know then is there any alternative way to use Ebay from Jordan ( middle east ) . Best Regards, Thanks in advance, Essa Khamis.|||so for some mistakes in writing ( if know = if no )|||Yes you can use a p.o. box unless the seller says they don't ship to po boxes. That is usually only when they are using a non postal delivery service such as fed ex or ups which do not deliver to po boxes. You can only buy from sellers that are willing to ship internationally to your country unless you have a address in the U.S.It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"||||||I have registered and made a purchase when i registered It would be wise ask questions before you purchase, not after.
Got Fake DVD's , now what?
I already had Season 1, retailed store bought that one. I ordered a DVD set, got them, Seasons 1 through 6. Got the 1-6 on ebay from a seller. Quickly I can tell they were fakes, coloring was off and compared the Discs to the real one I had and the inner DVD coding/writing was completely different. Everything on the Ebay purchase was fake, the plastic, the box, the shrinkwrap, etc. I contacted seller and filed Paypal NAD , within (not kidding) 5 minutes, I got a 100% refund. Said, "please do not leave bad feedback" My question is, What do I do about these fakes? Who do I send them back to? The seller ? Ebay? The Studio? Im an honest seller and I hate when this crap happens on here. Makes all of us that are honest look bad. The seller is in Ohio, not China, so now you can't even sort out countries to try to single out the possibilities of fakes from China.|||"I contacted seller and filed Paypal NAD , within (not kidding) 5 minutes, I got a 100% refund. Said, "please do not leave bad feedback" My question is, What do I do about these fakes? Who do I send them back to? The seller ? Ebay? The Studio?" What did the seller say? Did they request you send the item back to them? What does the seller's feedback on Toohause look like? Does it show any NEGS for counterfeits? It sounds like once you filed the SNAD for counterfeits, the seller refunded "within 5 minuets" because they knew the item was counterfeit. If the seller did not request the fake item be returned at his cost, then there is little reason to return. Once the seller refunded the claim with Paypal would be closed and Ebay/Paypal are out of the picture on this deal. IF the seller was unaware of the fact the DVDs were counterfeit, I would think they would be willing to pay for the return, so they could take the matter up with their supplier The fact they refunded so quickly and were not concerned about the return to their supplier, leads me to think , they knew ,got caught and just want the matter to go away. For me, the seller's previous feedback, if it contains previous NEgs for counterfeits would be the determining factors for me.|||The seller IS in China, take another look. Their ad just says Akron. Looks like you already negged them. Their FB shows they sell fakes. Link|||A review of the auction listing, shows the item location as USA, yet the seller is registered in China A review of your seller's feedback (NEGS) on toolhaise shows a history of counterfeits.( Click the word link) Link In this case, I would leave the following NEG to warn others and put the seller on Ebay's radar. Example" Item not as described,Countefeit DVD set. Buyers beware". Unless buyers are willing to leave appropriate feedback for counterfeit sellers, they will just continue.|||Seller registered in CHINA, item locations show Akron Ohio, NO way the seller is listing anything ,but counterfeits.|||James the item location says Akron Ohio, because the seller knows, if They the show China as the location , buyers will know they sell counterfeits and won't bid, just like the OP did thinking they are buying from a USA seller. Seller registered in China, says it all . Game over.|||Yes, I thought I summed the situation up nicely.|||Thanks guys Yea, even the shipping from was from an Akron, Ohio address Im thinking of forwarding these fake bootlegs to studio with these person's contact info. Im tired of all this fake chinese crap on Ebay. A lot of sellers, me including, work too hard to deal with scammers like this person. I honestly wanted these DVD's for mothers day gift, now I have to keep searching. p.s. the seller offered me money to remove the negative i left them. can you believe this?|||What I can't believe is that they're a TRS, Top-Rated Seller! TV series sets seem to be the most faked dvds on ebay. I haven't bought any of my TV sets here on ebay, besides the Hulk and Ellen, and Ellen I bought each season from individual sellers. It seems to be the sellers offering the entire run of a series all at once that seem to be selling the fakes. just a heads-up for lurkers reading this!|||||||||"Also check out the positive comments the seller has, some are from people that got fakes but got a refund and kept the items and left them positive " It is very common for the Chinese counterfeiters, once confronted by a buyer about the fake item to refund immediately and ask the buyer to leave positive feedback. This is exactly how they escape Ebay's radar .|||Yea just learned this. Its disgusting to see. I mean, the guy is a TOP RATED SELLER???? man! How come people don't know these are fakes? It's so obvious by the cheap everything and off color boxes and filmsy DVD and art . How does customs allow these shipments to enter the US? Anyhow, yea, that seller, even offered me money to retract my negative! I hate deceitful sellers that sell fake items , it not only wastes our time (this was a gift) but also it makes honest sellers look bad when they are strugggling (like I am) to stay alive on eBay. All while this person is a Top Rated Seller selling fakes. I mean c'mon.||||||This is what he is currently putting on his auctions subtitle Genuine US Release, All 7 Seasons, Free Shipping Can't someone just arrest this guy? What nerve. Im sure they are also fakes.
Counterfiet Coins on eBay
I purchased a counterfiet coin and fortunately got my money back. This person resold the coin right after I returned it to him and he continues to sell counterfiet coins. I have notified 2 buyers since then and they too were counterfiet and were in discussions with the seller. eBay does not seem to care. Any suggestions?|||You can write to ebay all you want about this but it will be quite awhile until anything would get done You can also report each listing individually but you must have strong evidence to get the listing pulled. Funny you should post this today - there is a topic on the clothing board today asking the same thing about an eBay store selling counterfiet designer clothing. Check it out: Link You may get some answers there.|||"Any suggestions?" Yes, it's called feedback.|||I already gave him negative feedback and even said he is selling counterfiet coins. The idiot even had the nerve to email me yesterday about changing my feedback! LOL I even called the local Police Department and they didn't even return my call. I guess people in Kentucky don't give a damn.|||"I have notified 2 buyers since then and they too were counterfiet and were in discussions with the seller. " Don't do this because it is against Ebay Transaction interference policy and could get you suspended. Link If the other buyers state to the seller, you contacted them the seller report this to Ebay. Report the auctions, leave appropriate feedback and that is all you , can do.|||Ignore the seller's request to change or remove the NEG. With his current feedback score and DSR for item described, he won't be selling much longer. Hopefully the other buyers who received counterfeits will also leave NEGS.|||Maybe someone else would be interested in case of large amounts?? Link|||Counterfeit coins should be reported to Ebay Link As well as the link to the Secret Service above.|||LOL! I kind of posted that jokewise......but thinking about it, perhaps a little email/letter with the secret service symbol would get some attention. (it would scare the hell out of me!!!)|||I like the idea! I know it's against the law to sell counterfiet US currency. I can't believe the local police never called me back on this guy. Oh well.|||"I even called the local Police Department and they didn't even return my call." Did you REALLY think the the police department was going to expend their limited forces regarding a single coin?|||For selling counterfiet US currency? HELL YES!|||Not to mention it's not the only one he's sold.|||"Not to mention it's not the only one he's sold." All the more reason to report to Ebay and the Secret Service Local PDs don't have the manpower and only call in the SS anyway. Since the coin(s) are being sent thru the US mail, Contact the USPS Postal Inspectors as well.|||Good point but I'm very tired of dealing with this idiot. I may feel differently tomorrow. Eveything I've done has resulted in ZERO to this point.
Seller didn't send me item at all, just a refund.
I am wondering if this is against Ebay policy. A seller put a GPS unit up for auction. I won it at a fair price. I paid right away. The next day the seller sent me a refund with no explination. I contacted him to asky why the refund. He said oh I sold it on another site. Nowhere in his auction did he mention that he was listing it on another site and that if I won I may not get the item. Normally it wouldn't matter, but I am upset because there were 2 of the same item and I could have bid on the other and won it at about the same price. Ticked me off a bit too because he got really snippy in his email to me.|||Hi, OP. New Seller '0' Feedback. The $50.00 plus free shipping you paid, is 1/3 of what they go for. Probably seller wasn't happy w/ price. Neg. him & get back out there, hunting. Try to buy from established sellers.|||Had the same thing happen to me this week. Seller opened an auction with a 99 cent bid, no reserve - when it didn't sell for what she wanted, she refunded my money and basically said "oops my bad, it won't happen again". Pay pay wouldn't open a claim because my money was refunded and Ebay is being wishy-washy about enforcing their policies and says to contact the seller, which I have done. I left her negative feed back, but there's nothing to stop her from relisting the item I won and paid for. No resolution from Ebay yet and I'm still pissed. Make sure you leave very negative feedback for your seller which is difficult because Ebay only gives you like 90 characters to summarize the transaction.|||Thanks I will leave neg feedback. Won't matter because they have 0 feeback, but guess it's the only thing I can do. I should have known with the 0 feeback. Oh well learned a lesson, didn't really lose anything. He did email me and say Oh I am listing another one in a day or so. My cousin has the same exact one. Yeah right!|||" I contacted him to asky why the refund. He said oh I sold it on another site. What to do You must ensure the items you are offering are in stock for the duration of the listing and are delivered to the buyer, unless the buyer doesn't meet the terms of your listing. If you run into an inventory problem that's beyond your control, you're still responsible for letting the buyer know when the item will be available or issuing a refund for the full amount immediately. What not to do You're not allowed to: List an item that may be out of stock at the time of purchase. List an item that you're simultaneously selling outside of eBay. Offer an item that may not be what's delivered to the buyer." Next report as a NPS here (include a copy with full headers of the seller's email) Link Next, IF the seller requests you agree to cancel the transaction (so seller gets their fee back from Ebay) DECLINE the request. Sellers who do this, should not be rewared with their Final Value Fees back from Ebay. Finally, Leave the seller a well deserved NEG as follows: "Won auction Paid, seller refused to complete transaction. Buyers Beware". By reporting the seller to Ebay and leaving the neg, you are putting the seller on Ebay's radar and warning other buyers , how the seller violates policy and conducts business.|||"". Pay pay wouldn't open a claim because my money was refunded and Ebay is being wishy-washy about enforcing their policies and says to contact the seller, which I have done" WHY would Paypal entertain a claim for either SNAD or Non Delivery, if you have been refunded? Think about it! Follow the proper reporting procedures in post 4 and the seller will go on Ebay's radar. Ebay is not going to tell you the outcome. Seller continues this policy violations and their ability to seller will be impacted. The Ebay canned response you received is a result of not properly reporting as per post # 4|||Follow the LINKS provided in post # 4
Queston about shipping.
So i just moved into a new kinda shoddy apt complex, and it seems the mailman likes to leave my packages on the apt doorstep. Im not a fan of this as i've had packages stolen before. So my queston is, is there any other type of mailing i could request from sellers besides usps? Like one i would have to sign for, or they couldn't just leave it on the damm doorstep? Thanks, and sorry if this isn't in the right place.|||I would email the sellers before bidding and ask them if it was ok with them if you won the item that they mail it out usps with signature confirmation and you are willing to pay them the extra $2.85 or whatever it cost and explain why. I think most sellers would obliged to it. I know I would.|||Rent a P.O. Box. Use that as your primary shipping address; with your street address on the second line in case the seller ships via UPS or FedEx.friends Director,|||I have seen UPS ask neighbors or anyone passing by an apartment to sign for a package, so not certain the signature confirmation is going to help you. It means you would need to be present to sign for each package. For like $26 a year get a PO box at your local PO. If the package is too big for the po box, they hold it for you and send you a notice a package is awaiting pick up. Much safer, for certain neighborhoods or apt complex situations|||||||||"Thanks this seems like the best option. How long will they hold my packages? And could i request them to call me if i have a package or is it only a notice? How big are the boxes?" I believe the Po holds the packages for at least 5 days. You can aks your local Post Master at your local PO. NO , the USPS , will not call you . It is your responsability to check your box frequently. I have received notices at my home address, a package is awaiting pick up at my PO. The PO Boxes are small, legal letter size. Check with your Post Master , what PO Boxes are available and the cost. Based on your description of the apartment complex, you may want all your mail to go to the PO Box.|||Asking sellers to use UPS or Fedex is going to be time consuming, expensive and will require you be home to accept/sign as well as create issues. Both methods, will make a certain number of attempts to deliver (you would need to be home) and then send your package back to the sender (seller). You would then, be required to re pay the S&H again for re delivery. This will create problems for you on Ebay and end up costing you way more than just getting a PO Box at your local PO.|||Just get the smallest cheapest box the PO has to offer~~that's all you need. They will leave a notice slip in your box and you just pick up the package at the window. You don't need a PO box big enough to fit packages into. I personally do NOT like UPS packages delivered with sig confirmation~~the nearest UPS to me is over 50 miles away and if I'm not home I sure don't want to drive over 100 miles round trip to pick up something. UPS won't deliver to my house in the winter so if I'm getting a UPS delivery I have to give an alternate address in town for the package to be left at. It's a PITA when all ebay bubble wrap sellers only ship UPS.|||kat - the PO won't even accept a large package of bubble wrap. You can get a larger PO box that will hold smallish packages. Of course they cost more. You need to check it frequently, like every 2nd or third day.|||Some bubble sellers offer USPS shipping but it costs more. My seller is one that does offer it but I get free shipping with using UPS. I used to get bubble shipped USPS but I guess since they charge "oversize" now it's too expensive for sellers to use it on a regular basis in their listings.|||I would also like to add that even though my bubble seller says "FREE UPS SHIPPING" my bubble does NOT come UPS except for VERY rare occasions. It comes by Speedy Delivery Service. I don't know if UPS contracts out to other delivery services or if my seller actually contracts with Speedy even though advertising UPS shipping.||||||I've run into UPS drivers at the post office but thought they were just making a USPS office delivery. I didn't know UPS drops packages at the post office to be delivered by USPS?
