Unpaid item

I bought a book and payed immediately with PayPal. The seller shipped the incorrect book to me and then gave me a full refund. We each left the other (+) feedback and I've no quarrel with the seller. However, now in My eBay under the heading Buying Reminders, it says "I need to pay for 1 item." What is going on? I've forwarded proof of payment from PayPal to eBay and got a form email back saying that eBay has removed the unpaid item from my account, but they have not. I've emailed again asking to fix this and no response yet. I have 100% (+) feedback and I don't want this error on someone else's part to be a black mark against me. What can I do? This is very frustrating.|||gah. Apparently I can't spell 'paid.' sigh.|||Just use the drop-down menu to the right of the item and choose "Mark as payment sent". That's all! (Though I thought that didn't do that anymore, my last two refunds never showed as needing to be paid, like they used to.)|||I've forwarded proof of payment from PayPal to eBay and got a form email back saying that eBay has removed the unpaid item from my account, but they have not. I've emailed again asking to fix this and no response yet. Ebay was assuming you had an unpaid item strike on your record, which you didn't because you paid already. This is just some weird thing Ebay has when the seller has refunded you. It will show the payment as unpaid because the payment has been "refunded". There's no worry about it. Just do want Mr. James said above.|||Your My eBay page is for your records only. So long as everything is settled between you and the seller, you can safely delete that item from your My eBay page. Also on your My eBay page, on the left hand side, is a link to the Resolution Center. Check there to see if the unpaid item strike is still showing on your account. If it is, just resubmit proof of your payment, and it will be removed. It shouldn't be there though.friends Director,|||I was able to use the drop down menu to delete the item on my Buying Reminder. I also received a personal email from eBay this evening saying that their first response to me was sent in error. There is no unpaid item in my case even though it does show up in my Buying Reminder page and then he gave instructions on how to delete it from that page (which I had just done). Thanks to all of you for responding! .|||When a refund is given , the Ebay system auto shows the item (in your MY Ebay) as unpaid again.|||there are a lot of buyers who seem to get upset about this ebay needs to do something so it is less confusing for them."This must be Thursday, said Arthur to himself, sinking low over his beer, I never could get the hang of Thursdays."

How to register from outside usa ?

Hello , I have registered and made a purchase when i registered i wrote my p.o box in the street address line 1 Text box because in my country there is no service to get the goods to your door like in usa . so my question is ? can i use my p.o box ?? and i hope the answer is yes if know then is there any alternative way to use Ebay from Jordan ( middle east ) . Best Regards, Thanks in advance, Essa Khamis.|||so for some mistakes in writing ( if know = if no )|||Yes you can use a p.o. box unless the seller says they don't ship to po boxes. That is usually only when they are using a non postal delivery service such as fed ex or ups which do not deliver to po boxes. Got Fake DVD's , now what?

I already had Season 1, retailed store bought that one. I ordered a DVD set, got them, Seasons 1 through 6. Got the 1-6 on ebay from a seller. Quickly I can tell they were fakes, coloring was off and compared the Discs to the real one I had and the inner DVD coding/writing was completely different. Everything on the Ebay purchase was fake, the plastic, the box, the shrinkwrap, etc. I contacted seller and filed Paypal NAD , within (not kidding) 5 minutes, I got a 100% refund. Said, "please do not leave bad feedback" My question is, What do I do about these fakes? Who do I send them back to? The seller ? Ebay? The Studio? Im an honest seller and I hate when this crap happens on here. Makes all of us that are honest look bad. The seller is in Ohio, not China, so now you can't even sort out countries to try to single out the possibilities of fakes from China.|||"I contacted seller and filed Paypal NAD , within (not kidding) 5 minutes, I got a 100% refund. Said, "please do not leave bad feedback" My question is, What do I do about these fakes? Who do I send them back to? The seller ? Ebay? The Studio?" What did the seller say? Did they request you send the item back to them? What does the seller's feedback on Toohause look like? Does it show any NEGS for counterfeits? It sounds like once you filed the SNAD for counterfeits, the seller refunded "within 5 minuets" because they knew the item was counterfeit. If the seller did not request the fake item be returned at his cost, then there is little reason to return. Once the seller refunded the claim with Paypal would be closed and Ebay/Paypal are out of the picture on this deal. IF the seller was unaware of the fact the DVDs were counterfeit, I would think they would be willing to pay for the return, so they could take the matter up with their supplier The fact they refunded so quickly and were not concerned about the return to their supplier, leads me to think , they knew ,got caught and just want the matter to go away. For me, the seller's previous feedback, if it contains previous NEgs for counterfeits would be the determining factors for me.|||The seller IS in China, take another look. Their ad just says Akron. Counterfiet Coins on eBay

I purchased a counterfiet coin and fortunately got my money back. This person resold the coin right after I returned it to him and he continues to sell counterfiet coins. Seller didn't send me item at all, just a refund.

I am wondering if this is against Ebay policy. A seller put a GPS unit up for auction. I won it at a fair price. I paid right away. The next day the seller sent me a refund with no explination. I contacted him to asky why the refund. He said oh I sold it on another site. Nowhere in his auction did he mention that he was listing it on another site and that if I won I may not get the item. Seller opened an auction with a 99 cent bid, no reserve - when it didn't sell for what she wanted, she refunded my money and basically said "oops my bad, it won't happen again". I left her negative feed back, but there's nothing to stop her from relisting the item I won and paid for. No resolution from Ebay yet and I'm still pissed. Queston about shipping.

So i just moved into a new kinda shoddy apt complex, and it seems the mailman likes to leave my packages on the apt doorstep. Im not a fan of this as i've had packages stolen before. So my queston is, is there any other type of mailing i could request from sellers besides usps? Like one i would have to sign for, or they couldn't just leave it on the damm doorstep? Thanks, and sorry if this isn't in the right place.|||I would email the sellers before bidding and ask them if it was ok with them if you won the item that they mail it out usps with signature confirmation and you are willing to pay them the extra $2.85 or whatever it cost and explain why. I think most sellers would obliged to it. I know I would.|||Rent a P.O. Box. Use that as your primary shipping address; with your street address on the second line in case the seller ships via UPS or FedEx.friends Director,|||I have seen UPS ask neighbors or anyone passing by an apartment to sign for a package, so not certain the signature confirmation is going to help you. It means you would need to be present to sign for each package. For like $26 a year get a PO box at your local PO. If the package is too big for the po box, they hold it for you and send you a notice a package is awaiting pick up. Much safer, for certain neighborhoods or apt complex situations|||||||||"Thanks this seems like the best option. How long will they hold my packages? And could i request them to call me if i have a package or is it only a notice? How big are the boxes?" I believe the Po holds the packages for at least 5 days. You can aks your local Post Master at your local PO. NO , the USPS , will not call you . It is your responsability to check your box frequently. I have received notices at my home address, a package is awaiting pick up at my PO. The PO Boxes are small, legal letter size. Check with your Post Master , what PO Boxes are available and the cost. Based on your description of the apartment complex, you may want all your mail to go to the PO Box.|||Asking sellers to use UPS or Fedex is going to be time consuming, expensive and will require you be home to accept/sign as well as create issues. Both methods, will make a certain number of attempts to deliver (you would need to be home) and then send your package back to the sender (seller). You would then, be required to re pay the S&H again for re delivery. This will create problems for you on Ebay and end up costing you way more than just getting a PO Box at your local PO.|||Just get the smallest cheapest box the PO has to offer~~that's all you need. They will leave a notice slip in your box and you just pick up the package at the window. You don't need a PO box big enough to fit packages into. I personally do NOT like UPS packages delivered with sig confirmation~~the nearest UPS to me is over 50 miles away and if I'm not home I sure don't want to drive over 100 miles round trip to pick up something. UPS won't deliver to my house in the winter so if I'm getting a UPS delivery I have to give an alternate address in town for the package to be left at. It's a PITA when all ebay bubble wrap sellers only ship UPS.|||kat - the PO won't even accept a large package of bubble wrap. You can get a larger PO box that will hold smallish packages. Of course they cost more. You need to check it frequently, like every 2nd or third day.|||Some bubble sellers offer USPS shipping but it costs more. My seller is one that does offer it but I get free shipping with using UPS. I used to get bubble shipped USPS but I guess since they charge "oversize" now it's too expensive for sellers to use it on a regular basis in their listings.|||I would also like to add that even though my bubble seller says "FREE UPS SHIPPING" my bubble does NOT come UPS except for VERY rare occasions. It comes by Speedy Delivery Service. I don't know if UPS contracts out to other delivery services or if my seller actually contracts with Speedy even though advertising UPS shipping.||||||I've run into UPS drivers at the post office but thought they were just making a USPS office delivery. Seller trying to cancel Buy It Now agreement

I purchased an item through Buy It Now whose price shot up $200 in the days following my purchase. The seller now wants to cancel the auction, claiming he's out of stock and that his supplier is too. It seems he's claiming he was selling items he didn't actually have; he wants to cancel, but I've talked him in to trying to get one of the items for me. (Selling an item you don't have isn't allowed, right?) I'm concerned, though, that he's going to fall through, and every day he delays, it's going to get harder for me to get the item elsewhere. Would it be ok with EBay for me to ask him to not only refund my money but pay me the difference in price I'm now going to be forced to pay? That is, I'd agree to cancel the Buy It Now only if I first received $200 plus a full refund. Would this work? What other options do I have? I'm mostly concerned with getting the item, hopefully avoiding a $200 markup from when I actually bought. Thanks.|||You've GOT to be kidding.|||I guess some people don't know what the word 'extortion' means.|||Another day, another nightmare buyer...|||Many people on eBay use drop-shippers. $18 to ship underwear?

I recently won four pairs of panties in separate auctions from one seller. They were .99 listings that ended under $4 per auction. The shipping cost stated on each auction was around $5.95, but I contacted the seller beforehand to ask about combined shipping. She hadn't replied back and the auctions were ending, so I stupidly decided to go ahead and just bid. Well, the seller replied conveniently after the auctions ended, at the same time in which I received a combined invoice that shows a charge of $17.90 to ship four pairs of panties. And this was with a discount applied by the seller. Now, I know I am at fault for bidding before knowing the shipping charge, you can flog me for that, I already feel dumb. However, charging almost $18 to ship a package that will weigh under a pound and most likely be sent first class is ridiculous. I sold five pairs of panties on hangars and mailed them first class for under $5 last week. I know the seller is most likely trying to make up the low auction ending prices by inflating the shipping. Is there anything I can do? I almost feel like not paying- mind you, I have never skipped out on paying for an auction in my ten years on Ebay, and don't care to have four unpaid item strikes possibly suspending my account. However, I've never had a seller ask such an inflated amount for shipping. I doubt if I contacted Ebay they would be any help? I could always pay and then leave a negative. It's rare that I've had reason to leave a seller a negative, but this is a gross exception. So yes, other than telling me "you shouldn't have bid in the first place, idiot," any suggestions on what to do?|||Pay for your items and learn your lesson. The time to negotiate combined shipping discounts is before the auction ends. You're new, and I think we all learned this lesson the hard way. So yes, other than telling me "you shouldn't have bid in the first place, idiot," any suggestions on what to do? . . . which is a lot easier to read. IMHO, you should pay and not neg the seller nor ding his/her stars. If you knew full well that shipping was $5.95 which would total $23.80 then the $17.95 that you were invoiced is a discount ($5.85). If you've been on ebay for your "ten years" you should have known better. Faulting the seller when you had the ability not to bid is wrong. While I agree $23.80 to ship underwear is excessive, I would not have bid and if I did I would not want to neg the seller. If you don't pay, you will have only one strike on your account so the choice is yours. And if you whine enough to eBay, they may remove it.|||In the future ask prior to bidding about combined S&H (give auction #) via __ method to postal zip ___. Is there anything I can do? 1) Honor your bids & pay. 2) Don't pay & get UPI strikes. 3) Learn to read & ask questions BEFORE bidding. I almost feel like not paying- mind you, So, don't. It's a free country. I have never skipped out on paying for an auction in my ten years on Ebay, Why should you ? Nobody made you bid. and don't care to have four unpaid item strikes possibly suspending my account. So, pay. However, I've never had a seller ask such an inflated amount for shipping. They didn't 'ask'. They posted it in the listing for you to see. You agreed to the ship charge BY bidding. The Seller gave you a courtesy discount, too. I doubt if I contacted Ebay they would be any help? Why don't you just go to the 'help pages' re: buying on eBay ? I could always pay and then leave a negative. Sure. Good idea ! Then every Seller who looks at your Feedback left can block you from not reading their listing, and, being a p.i.t/.a. after you win. It's rare that I've had reason to leave a seller a negative, Ah, you had reason before ? Hope it was a more valid one than now. Be truthful in the neg: I bid despite shipping being stated in listing. but this is a gross exception. Yes, this IS gross. Gross for a buyer to complain AFTER bidding about somethjing IN the listing. So yes, other than telling me "you shouldn't have bid in the first place, idiot," any suggestions on what to do? 1) Pay. 2) Leave a decent rating, or, none at all, if items arrive AS DESCRIBED & in good time. 3) Next time; READ & ASK QUESTIONS & WAIT for ANSWERS before bidding.||||||Actually, I've never left a seller a negative with the exception of not receiving an item years ago, so please don't make assumptions. I guess I thought the combined shipping fee would be reasonable. Regarding reasonable, yes, I have shipped five panties and charged $5 for shipping. But I did not start my auction at .99. I guess I've been lucky because I've never had a problem with any other shipping fees I've encountered as a buyer. It's simply a matter of owning up to YOUR mistake and learning from this. Yes, you have to pay if you're a person of integrity. However, I think it's very foolish for a seller to operate this way. How many return buyers does this sort of attitude garner? Not many, would be my guess. Most, no make that all, multi-item purchases I have made, did have combined shipping (and a better discount, or no extra charge, compared to what you were offered). I sometimes asked before, sometimes after, purchase, to be honest. You can respond as you deem appropriate in the DSR FB for reasonableness of shipping charges. And FB narrative if you feel like it. Or not. Your choice.|||4 panties x .99 = 3.96 shipping = 17.90 4 panties = 21.86 = 5.465 per pair nice undies COST upwards of 7.00 a pair plus tax plus, you need to drive to the B&M to get them what difference does it make a buyer's pocket if it's the way it went or, 21.86 w/ free shipping or some variation thereof ? it's still the going rate. OP, you said you charged 5.00 to ship... what did YOURS sell for ? what's the darn difference ? there's way too much 'integrity' & 'honesty' about SELLER'S BEHAVOIR... yet, buyers can leave a positive with 1 & 2 for stars, or, bid, with intentions of strongarming a discount later. what is it with people so concerned thaty eBay get a cut of every darned dollar that goes through payPal ? eBay already profits greatly, whether it's excessive shipping or not, THRU the FORCED paypal. you think, by further adding to eBay's profits, you're going to KEEP eBay as it is, KEEP sellers HERE ? you are wrong. they leave daily. because, after selling 4 panties for $3.96, collecting 21.86, they lose $0.36 to eBay, $0.93 to paypal, X to USPS, X for the COST of the merch., plus, time listing, packing, answering pita eMails... you think such a seller is getting rich on your panties ? please ! this whining, not reading the terms, in addition to all the other nonsense... soon, the only way you'll get new panties is from a B&M.||||||i paid more than that for my last pair of chain-mail undies, but at least they arrived in time for the renaissance festival...
