Do LAN ports on AirPort Extreme ...

YOU can help me, I hope. I have tried to solve the problem for a whole day already.

I have a D-link DIR-825 and an AirPort Extreme (Gigabit). I set my DIR-825 to work like a normal router. However, I would like to have my AirPort working like an Ethernet converter/Wireless Bridge.

From my research, it seems to me that WDS would not be possible with a non-apple router. "Client mode" is only offered in AirPort Express. The only opinion left is "Extend a wireless network" mode.

It works. AirPort gets an IP from my router, but the devices on LAN ports don't get any IPs.

I wonder if it supposes to work like that, or did I do something wrong?

Thank you for reading this post, even though you might not know the answer. But if you know, please help to solve this mystery for me. Thanks in advance.
