I recently upgraded my Airport Extreme Base Station to a new 2 channel unit. During installation I first removed the original base station, then set up the new unit. During setup, a prompt appeared asking me if I wanted to use my old configuration. After indicating "yes", the unit was set up quickly.
However, when I now open Airport Utility it shows 3 Airport Units (2 Airport Extreme and 1 Airport Express). How do I remove the original Airport Extreme unit from the list? When I highlight the unit, then select "manual", a prompt appears saying "an error occurred when reading the configuration", which is what I would expect since the unit no longer exists. Yet, there seems to be no way within Airport Utility to remove the unit.
