Wifi connection issues post OS 10.1 and ...

I'm really not sure where to post this and will take any suggestions.

In one day I installed the following updates to my MacPro and iPhone : OS 10.6.1 and iPhone 3.01. Both alleged to fix wifi connectivity issues. I now can no longer maintain a connection to either the computer or the iPhone via wifi.

We have five computers and 3 iphones in this household and only the updated computer and iPhone have been affected. The Airport Extreme (n-dual band) works fine with ALL the devices that were not updated. Previously, both the MacPro and iPhone connected without a hitch. When connected by ethernet, the MacPro is able to connect to the Airport. The phone can connect to other networks. NO changes whatsoever were made to the Airport, however, I have restarted it repeatedly to see if that would correct the issue.

The network is secured with WPA/WPA2 Personal and have a dual network running - both a 5Mhz and a 2.9 Mhz. It does NOT have a guest network established.

According to the Airport Log, "WPA handshake failed with STA likely due to bad password from client". The password used sure matches what's used on the other computers/iphones.

Finally, for the record, I threw out all my preferences relating to wifi on the MacPro, restarted it and also performed a hard reboot on the iPhone.
