I bought a Lacie D2 Quadra 1 TB HD to do wireless backups with my Airport Extreme. I partitioned the drive to 2 drives, one is 250 GB and the TM backup drive is 750 GB. I formatted them with Disk Utility using the default Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) format.
All the initial backups went fine (I used ethernet) and for a couple days the wireless updated backups went fine. However, now once every day or two I get a "Delayed" message in the TM preference pane saying that it couldn't connect to the backup volume. I can fix this by restarting the AEBS, but would like to not have to do this every day or two. What can I do to permanently fix this? Any help is much appreciated.
